Growth Done Right
Protecting Communities from Poor Planning
District 115 is facing serious pressure from data centers, warehouse expansion, and large-scale solar projects. Rich believes growth should not be rushed, rubber-stamped, or forced into places where it creates long-term problems for residents.
Major projects must be judged by their impact on roads, water, stormwater, noise, emergency services, utility demand, property owners, and taxpayers. Development should fit the community, not force the community to fit the development.
Rich will fight for local control, stronger public notice, full impact reviews, and enforceable standards that put residents first.
Education
Putting Students and Parents First
Education isn’t political to me — it’s personal. I believe parents should have a real voice in what their children are being taught. Our schools should focus on strong academic fundamentals, practical life skills, and preparing students for whatever path they choose — college, the trades, the military, or the workforce.
We need to support our teachers, expand career and technical education, and make sure funding actually reaches the classroom. Our kids deserve opportunity, not bureaucracy.
Environment
Protecting What Makes District 115 Home
Living here, I understand how much our natural surroundings matter. Our lakes, forests, and open spaces aren’t just scenery — they’re part of our way of life.
I believe in responsible stewardship that protects clean water and preserves our environment for the next generation. We can conserve our natural resources while still respecting property rights and supporting local jobs. Environmental policy should be practical, balanced, and rooted in common sense — not mandates that hurt working families.
Economy
Supporting Working Families and Small Businesses
As a small business owner, I understand how hard it is to meet payroll, manage regulations, and keep the doors open. Government shouldn’t make that harder.
I will fight for lower taxes, predictable regulations, and responsible spending so families can keep more of what they earn. A strong economy doesn’t come from growing government — it comes from empowering workers, entrepreneurs, and local businesses to succeed.
